Abandoned Hospital, Wakefield (September 2014)
Here is the Hospital which was part of the Abandoned Morgue within the previous post.
This explore to date has been one of my favourites, I believe I say this for every post now!? But honestly this was one of the best due to the overall eeriness and mystery, it was so peaceful to say that the building is smack right in the centre of the town.
It took us a while to figure an entry point but we wasn’t giving up after coming out of Sheffield for this explore. The building was sealed pretty tight but there’s always a way, HUH!
After a big climb, a squeeze through a broken window and cutting my finger in the process; we was in! Due to the size of the complex your mind plays games thinking you’ve seen/heard someone and you feel like you should run everytime you think this but you’ve just gotta keep on goin! Seeing evidence of squatting and drug abuse didn’t help this vibe! What made it even more scary was seeing a sandwich wrapper which was in date by a few days which means we wasn’t alone..
Favourite part of the explore had to be the operating theatre rooms, even though they was pretty much stripped they still told a tale!
Anyways, on with the photoGRAPHS..
